Other Initiatives

At Sesa Goa we take Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and devote extra care for the upliftment of the members of the community surrounding our operations. We focus on the following core areas: Education, Health, Alternate Livelihood Social Infrastructure and Environment Protection.

We have adopted some schools in Goa and Karnataka for providing educational aids, uniforms, study material and sports material for the need based students. In some cases we are also providing mid-day meals for students in schools in Goa. In Karnataka for many schools we are providing cooking utensils and other provisions. We have also organised seminars and lectures for students to prepare them for their board-exams. Additionally we have also organised counselling sessions for parents enabling them to take better care of their children.
