Our core business is iron ore. We, currently, are India's largest producer / seller / exporter of iron ore in the private sector. Having started in Goa in 1954, we also have mining operations in Karnataka and Orissa.

Our objective is to raise our share of the world trade in iron ore and most importantly to do that profitably maintaining our position as one of the world's most cost-effective iron ore producers.

Sesa's MetCoke Division manufactures high grade, metallurgical coke.

Sesa Industries Limited manufactures all grades of pig iron and also sells good quality slag.
